Bedrock Real Estate Services Recruits Three Restaurants To Detroit’S Central Business District

Eateries Add To Dynamic Restaurant Scene Downtown

June 4, 2014 (DETROIT) – Bedrock Real Estate Services today announced three dynamic new restaurants that will soon add flavor in the heart of Detroit’s Central Business District. Each restaurant will provide a unique dining experience for Detroiters. The restaurants will occupy space in 1500 Woodward, 1001 Woodward and Chrysler House (719 Griswold Street).

“We are focused on attracting a variety of quality sit-down and quick-casual restaurants to downtown that create an urban experience that can’t be replicated in the suburbs,” said Dan Mullen, Vice President of Leasing and Development for Bedrock Real Estate Services. “The added variety of new restaurants is just what downtown Detroit needs.”

The three new restaurant tenants that Bedrock has recruited to downtown Detroit include:

• Wright & Company (1500 Woodward; 3,107 square feet): A joint venture between Dave Kwiatkowski (owner of Sugar House) and Marc Djozlija (former head chef at MGM Grand’s Wolfgang Puck), located on the second floor of 1500 Woodward Avenue, at the northeast corner of Woodward Avenue and John R. Street. Wright & Company specializes in contemporary American small plates, craft cocktails and natural wines. • Freshii (1001 Woodward; 1,066 square feet): Owned by Lunchtime Global owner Randy Dickow and his brother Andrew Dickow. Freshii is a restaurant focused on providing fresh and nutritious meal choices for people on the go. The global franchise was founded in Toronto and now is in some of the largest cities in North America including Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. Freshii will offer salads, wraps, soups, burritos, rice bowls, fresh-squeezed juices, smoothies, frozen yogurt and more. • Mike’s Kabob Grille (Chrysler House; 1,916 square feet): A family-run Lebanese restaurant operated by long-time caterers Mike Abdallah and his son Mike, is now open in the lobby of the Chrysler House. The menu at Mike’s Kabob Grille ranges from traditional Lebanese dishes to Middle Eastern cuisine. Mike’s Kabob Grille is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information visit

Bedrock also recently announced that 7 Greens, a farm-to-fork salad destination, will open its 1,500 square foot eatery on Library Street at ‘The Z’ in August. 7 Greens will be open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, starting in August.
